I finally had a chance to drill and tap my j-pipe for a proper boost source instead of running my manual boost controller off the blow off valve line about a month ago.
It ran the MBC much better than from the BOV.
Anyway, I'm am wanting to go back to stock boost for a little bit (need some more reliability in my life) and was wondering what I do now that I have my j-pipe tapped?
When I wanted to run stock boost before (when I had my boost source coming from the BOV) I would simply disconnect the MBC and cap the extra port on the tee.
When I did that I usually ran about 10 psi.
Now that I've taped my J-pipe for a boost source, in order to go back to stock boost do I simply connect a line from the wastegate to the j-pipe and be done with it?
Or do I need to plug of the port I made on the j-pipe?
