quick question. was wondering if i needed a gasket when i connect those two or just bolt it on super tight?

Usually there's never metal to metal contact with any engine parts, always use gaskets. Your DSM will thank you :)

anyone know the part number? any subsitutes? damn mitsu gave me wrong gasket. and i want my car running for the night so i can atleast drive it over there bc i wont have a ride tomorrow to go.

You don't need a gasket. RTV will do just fine. I do not use any gaskets anywhere on my car including my throttle body, it's all RTV and it seals just fine. THe only gaskets I have are the intake and exhaust manifold to the head. After that, manifold to turbo, turbo to down pipe etc it ALL rtv.

Basically your goal in life should be to remove as many gaskets from your engine as possible. Hell Id use RTV between the head and block if I could.

I just purchased the turbo mounting gasket set for $30 bucks at O'Reilly last night. It had the gaskets I needed and any other gaskets for mounting the stock turbo. I don't trust myself with just RTV sealant, I try to use gaskets whenever possible. The part # for the FEL-PRO gastkets is 95096 if you can get them individually. I replaced my 14b with a big 16g and didn't replace the gaskets, luckily I noticed the oil leak and replaced them. Good Luck.

finally found a dealer with one in stock. was only 4 dollars but damn place was like 45 min away. its sealed now but my car still runs like ass. but i atleast took care of gasket heh

And by saying "it sealed" you mean you did a boost leak test right? ;)
