OK I have a 91 gsx with a fresh rebuild. I have a big 16g turbo stock fuel system for now. I have topline pistons beleive 9.0.1 compression, 2G MAS, cometic head gasket. keeping boost way down for now like 10psi peak. My ? is, Is it safe to drive my car with out getting it tuned for a month or so. I am not ragging on it keeping rpms below 5g. Is there a chance I could be hurting my new engine?

I would get some sort of tune done to it. And also put a Walbro pump in there as soon as possible. If you are going to pay somebody to tune it might as well get bigger injectors right now also or you will have to get it re-tuned after buying injectors later.

You will need a safc, maf-t, dsmlink, vpc or something like that.

Also a wideband would be a good investment for when you get ready to tune the car.

I dont believe topline pistons came in the 9:0 flavor.. Only 7:8:1 and 8:5:1

A chip will be decent but something else on top of it would be better. Or Dsmlink would be the best.

I need and e promm still and I deffinatly wont have enought cash to buy an e prom ecu and dsm link. Ill probally just buy the e prom and chip package for 375 on dsm chips site for now.
