instead of buying a dsmlink myself is there a way to do to a dyno and have then tune it and stuff there?

You need dsmlink installed in your car before you can tune it....The dynoshop can't tune your car if there is no way to do it..Not sure what you are asking exactly.

What will the shop that has the Dyno use to tune your car with? It's not like you pull in and they have some magical device that plugs into all cars and tunes.....you need to have the goods to do the tuning with in the car when you get there.

Keep in mind you have a '99....you're not stuck with Link as your only means of tuning.
