i have a 7 bolt and i have read if i use a eagle crank that will fix anything that can case crank walk......is this right???

No, only get a new crank if you have a bad crank or it needs turned. There is no known fix for crankwalk otherwise everyone would be keeping the 7 bolt instead of swapping to the 6 bolt.
It could be crank issues, bearing issues, alignment, oil ports etc. It's an unknown.
