Hey guys, I was taking my center console off for the first time and found an unplugged wire under there. Its near the cig lighter but that works fine. I tried tracing the wire back to its source but it goes deep within the dash. My guess is that it has to do something with the stereo system (aftermarket from previous owner)??? What could this be?

CD changer in a Spyder is located on the passenger side of the trunk. It's likely long gone and the wires are just a pain in the ass to remove without completely disassembling the interior (ask me how I know... ROFL)

That makes me want to get under the dash and remove it :sneaky:

It's not the dash.. it's everything else that needs to come out. Seats, center console, most of the interior trim panels, carpet, trunk trim, etc. In order to get access to all of the stupid spots they secured that ONE cable to, it's more work than some are willing to do.

That cable snakes from behind the radio, down through the center console on the passenger side, under the passenger seat, up under the passenger side rear speaker trim, under the convertible top storage area, and finally comes out behind the trunk trim on the passenger side. It's taped/secured in numerous places along the way.
