Direct fit Cat

I need to get a new cat asap to pass emissions. I would like to avoid welding. Will the magna flow #23244 be a direct Bolt-on?

Yes. Under the applications tab, it includes your GSX. Just make sure you lift your car and look at your cat...if it has one. Having it already welded in will require cutting and more welding, which is what you already said you wanted to avoid.

The main thing is to ensure that the flanges are there and intact. If all look good, purchase that MF cat and do the quick swap. Use lots of PB Blaster prior to breaking the torques on the flange. Don't need to be snapping bolts or studs, if equipped.

If your old cat didn't bust to pieces inside and blow all the contents out the exhaust, look into scrapping your stock cat at an auto parts recycler. Import cats are often worth a good bit and could potentially pay for a decent portion of your aftermarket replacement.

Sounds good! Luckily I already removed the stock cat without damaging anything. I just wanted to be absolutely sure the magna flow would fit before I forked over the money. Thank You for the assurance!

Depends what they're paying in your area...it varies greatly. It would be different if you had a truckload of them- but if you're only turning in one find the place closest to you and go with them as you'll spend more money running around than what you'll stand to gain.
