I've search online but can't exactly find anything that will be a exact fit on a 99 gsx. Any ideas? Preferably one of the adjustable ones

Just make sure they have the DSM flange and you'll be fine for a BOV.. here you go:

Vehicle Specific :: Blow Off Valves :: DSM :: Mitsubishi :: Modern Automotive Performance

Just to give a bit more information;

On my 95 GST I used an HKS SSQV V1 and it was really nice. On my Evo I used a Synapse Synchronic (the small one in the link) which held up great. My 95 GSX had a tial BOV and on my current GVR4 it has a Greddy one. You shouldn't really worry too much about "adjusting" the BOV, as long as it holds the amount of boost pressure you're looking to run then you'll be golden. If you're not looking to go over stock pressure then I'd stick with a metal 1g BOV (also in the link, these can hold quite a bit of boost especially if it's crushed.)

If you're planning on upping the boost later down the road then you'll also be changing your UICP regardless, so take that into consideration when you plan to purchase this BOV. You could get the one you really want (which depends on how you make your pick, idk if you want performance or if you just want the sound as some people do) but make sure the UICP and BOV have the same BOV flange.

Also another thing to digest;

Running these cars with an open atmosphere BOV (not recirculating into the intake) can cause idle issues and stalling issues.

Good luck with your decision

Personally, for stock piping on a 2g I'd either go with a Forge BOV or an Evo Metal BOV. They both replace the plastic OEM BOV perfectly. Other than that, there are tons that'll fit if you change the stock plastic piping because you'll get different flanges to work with. You can also find a 2g to 1g adapter and use a 1g bov.

They make an adaptor for our cars for just about any bov on the market, hks, greddy, blitz, and a few others, just make sure its a recirculating bov though

Cool thanks guys. Just to be sure, am I gonna need one that fits a 1g to fit my 99 or a 2g?

2g as yours slots in and clamps with a clip, 1gs are a bolt in so of course you will need the 2g style unless you get an adaptor for the 1g bov flange
