I have an old set of Red Prothane motor mount inserts that I'd like to use on my current project, but they look dirty and I'd like them to look fresher.

I tried cleaning a small spot with brake clean, but it didn't seem to phase the dirt. What cleaner have any of you had success doing this with?

Try little bit of WD 40 and wipe it off really good.

simple green and a brush. problem is the poly is probably absorbed some of the oil and has dirt ground into it so even cleaned it will still look dirty
