I got some black leather off a junked 99 for my 98 GSX. There's no rips and it basically just needs cleaned but assholes exist and there's writing on the passenger seat. Does anyone know how to get this off?

ROFL... Shitsubishi.. that's a good one...

That out of the way, just use some off the shelf leather cleaner followed up with some leather conditioner. I typically use the Meguiar's Gold Class line of products, all of which can be purchased at your local WalMart. Just take your time with it, let the cleaner do it's thing.

That looks like an Autowriter paint marker......Isopropyl would wipe that off if so. Take a rag soaked with the alcohol in one hand, and a clean/dry rag in the other. Wipe it with the alcohol and wipe immediately after with the clean and dry one. Get in, get out. Might have to repeat a few times.

Leather can also be wet sanded and polished as well but you need to know what your doing to not make a mess of it. It can even be refinished just like a panel on a car which is actually a service I have been considering to offer. I can even take any beat down leather steering wheel and make it look and feel brand new. The leather doesn't come off the animal the colors we see it in our cars......

I just did an Evo8 wheel for my GSX last week. Wheel was shot. Picked it up for nothing.
