Difficulty with turbo re-instillation

The turbo on my 1g took a dump and I am attempting to replace it with a MHI 16. I got it off fine and put all of the fittings onto the new one, however I am not getting the clearance to bolt the manifold to the turbo. The line that goes from the turbo to the radiator is bumping against the part of the engine that the lower radiator hose feeds into. Thus blocking me about a quarter inch on the right side not allowing me to line up my bolts. I'll add a pic. Any help at all would be awesome and I recognize I'm a noob but I just want to get this car back on the road. Thanks.

Can't see too much in the pic. Did you try reclocking the turbo to see if that helps?

I would suggest pulling the manifold, bolting it to the turbo, then installing all of it together. Its usually easier that way. This is also a great time to replace 20 year old exhaust mani studs and gaskets as well

I got it. I called my friend he's a grand national guy but he said I can just bend it if its only about a cm then bend it back if need be. Car should be cranked by the end of today daylight pending. Thanks I really appreciate it.

Make sure you prime the turbo before cranking it up!

Always bolt the mani to the turbo outa the car always the best way to go.

best bet to also attach the o2 housing to the turbo as well before you put it back on the motor
