Depends on how the PS was removed. If you look at the rack, where the hoses go in, and you see a hose looped between the two ports, you may be ok. Look at the boots on the tie rods on both sides of the car, are they torn or intact, and is there any sign of PS fluid leakage here? If the boots are good, and there is a looped hose, chances are that you dont have to replace the rack which makes this restoring the power steering a relatively easy process once you aquire the parts you need. If the boots are torn and it looks like fluid is leaking around the tie rod area on either side, the rack needs to be replaced and its not the easiest job to do on one of these cars.
