so doing a Turbo conversion on my Talon, and using a turbo that I'm pretty sure has never been used on DSM before.
T3 flanged Mitsu Turbo, little bigger then 14B, Internally gated, w\ a BOV integrated and recirculated in\on the compressor housing.
anyways
right now as the turbo sits, when bolted on to the DSM, the Oil Return spot on the cluster is facing up, I just want to know if this will cause any issues, as long as the turbo Oil's properly and i get all my oil back into my pan I'm okay with it.
Will the Oil getting fed into the turbo push itself out up and through that oil drain? I just wanna make sure.
Thanks for the help.
You can sorta see the oil return spot on the cluster on the turbo (its the green spot)
EDIT: Got my answere. Apparently if its not pointed straight down, Oil can back up and blow out seals. I rotated the Turbo enough so it points straight down and should work properly!
