I'm hunting down my idle surge problem, and I've come to a snag with my ISC. As I was rebuilding my 1g throttle body, I noticed the 1g metal ISC motor and housing only has 2 screws, but my 2g black ISC that is 100% working has 3 screws. Am I missing something like an adapter or a sleeve? Or do I need a different FITV/ISC housing to use the working 2g? This 1g ISC also has a short harness on it, while my other just has the open plug. This is a 6 bolt swapped 2g. The 2g does not fit into the housing at all.

You can use the ISC from a 1g as long as it is not from a 90',

Which by your description of the harness coming from the ISC motor, Sounds like a 90' Piece.

Hope this helps.

Hate to revive an old thread... but i came across this thread after trying to loot lots of different mitsu cars and i recognized the questionable part.
I believe the black one in the last photo in OPs post is the one i saw on a mirage. The throttle body has the housing on those. I took it off hoping that i could swap over into my busted isc housing, and it looks like the coils might match (if anyone wanted to be adventurous enough to tear it apart and resolder the coils), but the housing won't mate.
