Hey, ive ran into a few problems with my rebuild and this is by far the most difficult one!!

Im swapping a 90 6 bolt into a 93 DL and have EVERYTHING i need but the wire harness!
The ONLY 91-94 FWD Turbo wire harness i found is in new york or something and the dude wants $400(yes thats right!!) for it plus shipping!

Now i found a 91-94 Turbo harness on Ebay for $150 shipping included but its for an AWD!

the tranny was standard so clear there!

Question is......... does it matter between AWD and FWD, and if so WHY??

I don't want want to spend $430 or some to get a USED wiring harness!

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks,

shawn huetter

No, its does not, only between manual and auto, and 90 vs 91-94. Use the 91 up sensors (CAS, coil pack and ignitor etc) and youll be fine for that part of it.

You dont need to change the harness, you just gotta run one wire to the ecu for the knock sensor and wire in the injector resistor,oh and change the plug for the maf, cause the turbo one has 7 wires and the n/t has 6.Just run a search you will get more info than u need.

Ok if the car is a 1.8 then you definately have to change the harness,if its a 2.0 just need a few more wires.I don't run a bcs,you can run the extra wire for it too if you want to.
