just wondering, but im assuming the throttle cable determiners how tight the cable to the throttle is and the accelerator cable determines how tight the accelerator pedal is?

Push the pedal all the way to the floor and check the throttle body to see if it open all the way. If not, then tighten cable. Once you tighten the cable, turn car back on and if the car is reving, then you tighten it too much. Just learn this last night so I thought I would share.
