difference between the accelerator cable and throttle cable?

just wondering, but im assuming the throttle cable determiners how tight the cable to the throttle is and the accelerator cable determines how tight the accelerator pedal is?

u got to be kidding....accelerator cable and throttle cable are the same thing or at least do the same function. the throttle cable connects the accelerator (gas petal) to the throttle body, when u press down on the accelerator it move the cable which opens the throttle plate in side the throttle body. allowing for more air in to the engine. u can adjust the tension on the throttle cable, to for a quicker throttle response. and to make sure the throttle plate opens fully...

Push the pedal all the way to the floor and check the throttle body to see if it open all the way. If not, then tighten cable. Once you tighten the cable, turn car back on and if the car is reving, then you tighten it too much. Just learn this last night so I thought I would share.
