i think he's asking if the 4g63 cable is interchangeable with the 420a since the layout of the engine is opposite i would guess no but just a guess

On a 2g you can use the throttle cable from a 420a on a 4g63. That is where I got my non cruise control throttle cable for it. I opted to hide mine under the intake manifold for a clean install. I try to take them off of the 420a cars all the time since more of them came without cruise control. The cable will bolt to the fire wall just like oem and attach to the pedal, throttle body, and intake manifold just like oem. So for your question they are not the "same". But will it work just fine with no problems, yes.
 
Deleted my cruise control on my 2G eclipse, got a straight cable from a 90 somethin Hyundai Elenrta. Everythingbolted up like butter, just use your brain and your eyeballs and you can figure it out pretty simple really.
