What is up my dudes. So I took my rods to a reputable machine shop which I've had a good experience with once in the past. They had to hone my rod bushings to my supertech wristpins and he wrote the clearance on each rod.

That's 0.0028" for each rod. Isn't that a little loose? I plan to run 15W-40 oil but I thought these were supposed to be closer to 0.001?

The pins have zero play in the rods, and are a very tight fit, so maybe he just went until the pin went in and it ended up being this loose? I feel like if it were any tighter I wouldn't be able to get the pin in.

Will these be okay to run in a street car? Possibly 400hp-700hp over the engine's life with future mods. How important is the rod pin clearance? There's no oil pressure to the top of the rods.
