Dextron III

Can you run normal ATF the Dextron III / med something or another *can't remember the 2nd name for it* in our trannies?

I know this is a stupid question but i don't have a owers manual for my GST

No, please only use the ATF+3 or ATF+4 fluid for Chrysler cars. Or the Mitsubishi equivelant.
The 3Si guys say that the Walmart SuperTech ATF+3 works fine and is a lot cheaper.

Thanks steve any chance you know off the top of your head how much i need to fill a GST auto tranny?

The manual says it holds 7.1 quarts of DIAMOND ATF SP II or equivalent but when I change the filters on the F4A33 in my Stealths it takes about 4 quarts with the rest of the fluid being in the torque converter and cooler.

I'll drain in put 4 in the check the dipstick and work up from there.
