Good afternoon everyone, I have a question about the Dejon intake piping. When I did my turbo upgrade and put everything on, I noticed there was two vacuum hoses left over. On that went onto the valve cover and one that went to somewhere by the fuel filter which i don't know the name of so sorry about that. But to the point now, theres two openings on the stock intake piping which the vacuum lines went to. Unfortunately i got the piping without getting the two openings on it, is there anyway i can cap these lines or route them to something else? Or can i approach this problem differently? Thank you fellow tuners!

The one from the valve cover is for the purpose of allowing the crank case to breathe. This is accomplished by connecting it to the intake pipe, where there is a slight vacuum, so you will need to tap a hole for a fitting on the Dejon piece. It is also highl suggested that you put a sealed catch can somewhere along that line, since oil has a tendency to blow out of the valve cover and coat your intake system.

The other one is for your EGR and EVAP system. That can be left unconnected, or you can trace them to the source and clean up your vacuum lines from there. However keep in mind that if you actually remove more than the vacuum hose you will throw a CEL.

The smaller one from the valve cover is for venting the engine, and it exhales an oily mist, so you need to set up a catch can. Search that here and you'll see a bunch of ideas.

The larger one goes to the charcoal canister, under the battery. You may throw a check engine light if you cap it or leave it open.

You could easily add a couple of nipples to the intake pipe, though, and run them like the stock setup. It's a good idea to set up at least an inline filter to the vc breather if you run it back to the intake, to keep oil out of the pipe.

EDIT: Damn my slow typing :p
