Hey whats up yall!!!

Well its finally time to get my exhaust upgrade after getting my 97 gst about a month ago. I've been reading alot on all of the different brands trying to get some insight on all of them. One last thing I want to know before purchasing is who do you guys think makes the deepest sounding exhaust? I know there will probably be a numerous amount of opinions which is why I will ask you to please back up your answer with a soundclip if you can. Thanks a bunch!!!

I've got a clip of my 1G with 3" turbo back and Thermal R&D muffler. I don't have anywhere to host it, so you'll have to hit me up on AIM if anybody wants to hear it.

sounds like the winners the Thermal R&D exhaust (GSX) so far what else you guys got? When I look on ebay they all have the tilted exhaust tips I hate that

That still didn't answer my question, would it bolt up to a stock converter and yes a downpipe is in store but just to answer my quesiton, would it connect up or no to a converter. . .

Thermal Cat-Back WILL bolt on to the stock cat. If you look closely at the 2g GSX pic , you'll notice that it expands to 3" right after the cat flange. This reducer is there to make the catback fit to the stock cat.

IMO, if you want to go with a downpipe as well and build a turboback out of it, Thermal isn't the best solution, except if you want to cut it and weld a new flange to fit a 3" Hi-flow cat or testpipe, which would not be that hard...
