does anyone know where or what is a good sounding cat back exhaust system that doesnt sound too high pitched.

I have a Apexi N1, I love the sound of it. It does get a little loud at WOT but settles down when your cruising.

A friend has a Greddy Evo. Its quiet as hell when the car is idling and WOT isn't nearly as loud as my N1.

Another friend has a RSR and this thing just purrs like its stock. It has a canister tip, but doesn't sound like a nasty fart pipe. His car almost sounds like its off when he has it on. This one is even quieter than t he Greddy Evo.

I have the Tanabe 3" and my buddy has a Thermal, I think they both sound pretty good, nice low rumble at idle, but the thermal is louder at WOT, but I like the way the chrome tip looks better than my Tanabe's can

I have a custom mandrel bent 2.5" exhaust for the cat and catback, and an RnR racing O2 eliminator downpipe. I think it sounds very nice. It is a little loud at idle compared to
others I have heard, but totally reasonable for highway cruising and normal acceleration.

Sounds awesome at WOT. Definiely loud, but not obnoxious. I say it sounds sort of like a massive paper shredder working at very high speed in the middle of a windstorm (You like that description?). A friend of mine thought I was spinnig wheels, but it was purely the sound of my exhaust.

I am yet to find a high pitched catback for the DSM. I think you just gotta choose from mild to loud when it comes to a DSM exhaust.

an exhaust is an exhaust, they all sound about the same none of them are high pitched at all for our cars sense we have the same motor and a turbo lowering the sound :thumb:

Absolutely. It is impossible to make a turbo DSM sound bad. Period.

Here are a few sound clips of my custom 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust from the flexpipe on the stock DP back:
