dead CAS?

I was testing the voltage and resistance of certain things that would apply to a no start. Anyway I have a 1g CAS in my 99, had it for a while and has worked fine until a month or so ago. Anyway the harness for the CAS tested within the values but when I test the crank position sensor I get 0 voltage from the blue/white wire with the CAS plugged in. As soon as I unplug the CAS, the blue/white wire on the CPS reads 4.8 volts. Just looking to confirm my suspicion of a dead CAS.

Did you try turning the CAS while measuring. The two signal wires work by pulling the 5v from the ECU to ground. So if the CAS was in a spot where it's signaling the ECU it should pull the wire low. Tuning a good CAS should show the two signals pulsing between 0 and 5v.

Thanks for the advice, I just went out there to try it but I left my keys in the ignition in the on position and my amps drained my battery overnight. I will try it again tomorrow after I get the battery charged.
