datalogging on dsm(ecm)link?

I'm trying to learn as much about ecmlink as possible (i don't have it). Could anyone show me an example (pic) of a datalog of ecmlink with a small discription of what i'm looking at?

There is way too much for us to describe to you. Your best bet is to read through these few sites:
start [ECMTuning - wiki]
1992 Talon Tsi AWD Project

Then go download the software and play with it:
ECMTuning, Inc.

Then go search in this forum for any files that have .elg at the end. These are ECMlink logs.

You should download the V2 user guide also at the bottom of the page. Or when you download V3 its in the help section theres some good info there also.

Ya, i've read everything off the ecmtuning website that i can, I even downloaded the v3 program to my computer but I can't really do anything to it untill it's connected to the car (which i can't do).

Do you have a log to play with? If not, try and find one. You should be able to access almost everything without being connected to a car.

I just downloaded v3 and downloaded some logs. I understand it better now. With the still shots it just looked like a graph with no values. I see how the time frame scrolling works now.
