Datalogger MMCD, Wideband input??

How are you guys connecting the wideband gage to pass data to the palm logger? I saw that it was mentioned that you can do it but didnt see anywhere showing how. Do you run the out put plug wires from the gage such as (autometer or ngk) and splice in somewhere on the ecu wires or the datalogger cable???

Also you guys talk about using the egt input can you rig it to use the wbo2 input in the mmpc logger program where its supposed to be? Or do you just use the egt input spot and change its name and function in the logger? A write up or sticky on this subject would be great as a lot of people use the palmlogger and if you could just add a "cheaper" wideband gage like the autometer it would be great! Besides I could just upgrade from my autometer narrow band gage.

Thanks much.
Ok, All you need is an 0-5 Volts output of the wideband and connect it directly to the EGRT input of the ECU. Once done. You can read the voltage or A/f ratio accoriding to your preferences in the MMCD. Now, the formulas I posted is to read the A/F ratio once you exported the file to the PC. Grab the raw data of the EGRT and use one of the formulas.

More info let me know.

That is sweet! I want a wbo2 even more now! Forgive me I dont have my wiring harness schematics in front of me right now but is there an open slot/pin to insert that line with a new pin attached so its a nice clean attachment?

Thanks.

I want to clarify some information. The MMCD software converts EGRT V at 0v=8:1AFR, 5v=22:1 AFR, and and using the LM programmer when setting the output parameters you would input the same scaling numbers correct?

EDIT: The reason I ask is that my gauge and MMCD are giving me different readings. My gauge is setup per manufacturer settings and has always given me proper reading. Today when I hooked up the second analog wire to the EGRT input the MMCD shows a value that is leaner by about 1.5:1, ex, gauge reads 14.7, logger will read 16.
