Data Logging

When I bought my car it came with a dsm link v2 cable but not an the ecu or the chip for it. I plan on getting both eventually but I wanted to know if I could at least use the cable to data log for now? Would it be possible? If so what program would I have to use?

I think that the v2 cables dont have a usb end. you have to get a converter for have a laptop that has the older serial port. I could be wrong

You won't be able to log anything with out the ECMLink chip installed in a 95 EPROM ECU.
