General Data logging with 1G ECMLink cable.

I'm just wondering if it is possible to data log a non-EPROM 1g with the ECMLink cable?

I have done some searching and I see you can use the serial cable. Also I have found a few laptop programs and also the Palm software. I have just had no luck finding a way to data log with this cable on a laptop with out using the EPROM and ECMLink client. I will be sending my ecu to be socketed/converted soon but I was hoping to be able to data log before then.

Send the ECU to Steve and get it socketed then worry about your tune. Looks like your doing great without being tuned. But there's TunerPro, logging/tuning software, and its free. You just need the cord. TunerPro and TunerPro RT - Professional Automobile Tuning Software


You can try it and find out if it works..

Other than that I can't help you, I'm still on a stock tune. I'm not to the tuning level yet.. Sorry I can't do much else for ya pal..

^^Thanks alot I will try that out. The Gs-t in my timeslip has a Evo8 ecu that I tune it with. I'm new to Ecmlink so I wasn't sure if I could data log and tune with my Maf-t for the time being.
