Data logger cable issue

I have a logger with 2g program on it and it worked last fall.
the batteries died and I just got the programe back on it.
I then went and pluged it into the 0bd2 port and it's linking to my car.
I tried my freinds palm and it was still not linking to the car.

Has anyone eles had trouble with their 0BDII data logger cables or the actual plug into the car?

It's probably something relitivly simple. Any input would be appriciated.

When you put the programs back on, did you put in the registration code again for the logger program?
