Cylinder Head Problem Maybe?

Alright, awhile ago I replaced my water pump and when I put the car back together it would not start(timing). I was told my head was shot and I didnt think so. Now I took the valve cover off and my exhaust cam is fine but, my intake cam I can turn about a half inch left and right and all the lobes do not touch like my exhaust cam. I can pull the rocker arms right out. The valve springs look like they are compressed a little. Could I have some bent valves? If you want pics of this I will get them.

I would start to pull the head off if you think you jumped your timing.

Yes, your intake valves are bent. Pull the head and fix it because there will be no way to get past it without do so.

No, it will not run. It is possible to have damaged a piston. Only way to find out is remove the head.

if the valves put marks in the top of the piston should I get new pistons or would they be fine?

Sometimes you can get away with pistons that have been hit with valves. It all depends on how bad they where hit.
