I recently had a timing belt done on the car once all was put back together she started up but noticed low power and decided to check the compression on the cylinders, on cylinder 1 and 4 there was no compression.

Any ideas on what I should look into? 96 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 420a

What were the measurements for all four of the cylinders?

Assuming zero comp on two complementing cylinders, one could guess the timing could be off.
0psi on cylinder1, 160psi on 2 and 3, 0 psi on 4

Welcome to the site.

Was there a problem before you have the timing belt done?
Did you do the work or have it done?
If someone else did it, have you spoken to them about the results?
Was the head taken off during the process?
Thanks first time ever posting on the dsm platform.

Yes the belt was starting to get lose since the hydrolic tensioner was going out but the car was running fine before the engine was taken out had no noise coming from the engine. A buddy of mine did the timing belt since he had done it before on my car, but its been a while since he has worked on 2g cars before so I can't rule out possibility of bad timing.head was not taken off

Why would the engine be taken out to change the timing belt?

If the car was otherwise running well, I'd have to guess that was the cause. Since it was a friend that did the belt, it's not like you can take it back and tell them to fix it.

You'll need to check the timing, then look to make sure all the valves close when they should, try a leakdown test to see where the air is going and fix what you find.
