Okay so i found some cylinder heads in the junkyard the other day and i was woundering if they fit. I have a 2g 7 bolt. I found a 4g64 off a galant that looks like a direct fit but not 100% sure. And a 1g 4g63 N/T 7 bolt head. I know that 2g heads are the ones i want because they flow more air. Also i was going to get the 1g throttle body from the 1g and bolt it on to my intake mani. Would that fit or should i get get the whole intake mani from the 1g? one last thing i want to run the cas from from the 1g and 97-99s. I have the one that goes under the intake cam gear. And i want to up grade the cams and cam gears. Would i just buy the cas adapter that i always see on here?? Or is there more involved? Sorry for the long post.
Thanks for the help.

Cylinder i know i didnt spell that right but i didnt have time to fix it. i realized after i posted it up haha
Why would i want a 1g 7 bolt head? is there any way i can move this to a tech thread and not have to re-write everything?
And can someone help?? Lol

a 6 bolt and 7 bolt head have minor differences like the hole size for head bolts and thats about all i know, and you cant put a 1g t-body on a 2g intake manifold without boring out the inlet on the intake first cause then it wont really be a upgrade, in all honesty you should keep a 2g head cause the smaller ports have a higher velocity then a 1g head with more flow so really you would be losing low end power.

hope i said that all correct but if i didnt someone will correct me.

All you do when you get the 1G TB is port out your 2G intake manifold, you can find writeups on this all over this site. The 2G intake manifold has longer runners that make it flow better than the 1G mainifold. Just port out your 2G manifold with the 1G TB. You can use a turbo or N/A TB, it doesn't matter as long as its a 91-94

Why would you want to run the CAS off the cam? What is wrong with running it under the cam gear? Do you plan on getting different cam gears?

Okay thats the info i was looking for thank you.
And yeah i plan on running bc 272/272 cams and some adj cam gears.

Yeah i know ppl keep them on under the cam but im tired of having it there. Ive broken 2 cas already because i was taking off or installing the cams. And if i get a 1g cas i can install and remove without take the cam gears out... What are your guys thoughts?
