1G cutting out abs pulse plate

I have a 91 eagle talon tsi w/ abs. over the past weekend I changed out my lower control arms and cv axles and had just put driller and slotted rotors on about a month ago. The problem is on the back of my wheel hub is the abs sensor plate with gears on it it came off when I was hitting the old cv axle out. What I am wondering is I have read I can just cut it off and that will solve my problem of it jingling when I drive and being annoying but is there a way to get it back on because I dont know the side effects of just cutting it out.

The side effects of not having it would be having one wheel lock up. Thats all I know for sure.
