cuts out won't hold rpms idles fine sitting for years

Have a 91 talon tsi 5 speed standard been sitting for about 6 years the ecu was gone it has been replace with one from a 93, the fuel pump was changed out gas tank cleaned out new fuel filter, the car idles fine but when I rev it up it cuts out and surges at a low rpm

How are the plugs and wires? id check everything sensor and everything you could if the car has been sitting that long.
