?'s about a car sitting for 2 years

I'm finally going to get a GSX, but the car has been sitting for about 2 years.
If is pretty cold outside and has been below freezing for at least a month.
Is there any thing that might help me to get it started easily?
I'm going to bring a good warm battery, some fresh gas and possibly a bottle of heat.
I don't have to drive it but about 4 miles to get it home and do proper maintenance.
The car supposedly has a bad head gasket but still runs and drives, with a bad idle.
So after work today I'm going to get it and I got to get it started one way or another.

Thats nice, I just picked up a 92 laser awd and already have it torn apart. Just have to find out why its running lean and throw the new clutch, flywheel and trans in and hopefully she'll be running! Gl with tsi

after about 2 years of being garaged and picked at (by me mostly) i finally gave up and sent my car down to the shop.... now i am 10 grand poorer
