2G Car Idles Fine but Won't Rev

I had a really strange problem today with my 97 gst. I had just driven it about 12 miles with no issues and then it sat for about 20 minutes. I took it out and almost immediately it would barely rev. It idled just fine. I was only a few hundred feet from my house. I was barely able to get it back in the garage. I had to give it lots of gas. It stalled a few times. It acted a lot like it has when an intercooler pipe coupling blows off. I checked all of the pipes and they seemed fine. That cause seems very unlikely as that has only happened when I've gone full throttle which I hadn't. A few hours later I started it up to try and figure out what was going on and it was just fine. I took it for a short ride with no issues. I have not done a vacuum leak test yet. Any ideas? My first thought was maybe a flaky BOV that was stuck open. I have a Forge.

Sounds like fuel filter got plugged up on you. Giving fuel to do idle but not enough to give the motor power.

I had a bad connection on my knock sensor that did that. Took almost a month to throw a cel.

Check your MAF, it might be unhooked or is not making good connection.
Unplug it and re plug it again, make sure it is very well hooked up.
