cut out issue

my dsm seems to be cutting out in high rpms like in 2nd gear it cuts out at 5000 rpms and jerks like it is dying. one person i know told me to gap the plugs to 28 which i did and am still having the same issue.

Sounds like your plug wires are arcing out to me. I have had those same symptoms before even in evos and that usually is the quick check/ fix.

i just gapped the plugs to 28 yesterday im runnin a small 16g on a stock fuel system i was thinkin theres too much boost for it to handle

you are ###### hitting fuel cut... how much boost are you running?
and do you have an aftermarket gauge or are you guessing on the stock one?
