99gst racer- nice work! I'm not a fan of the center vents being removed, but you sir did some great craftsmanship.

Why eliminate a/c vents? Or at least it must be nice to live in a climate where a/c is not a must. I grew up in the north east and out west in Co and remember driving around the parents cars with 4-60 a/c. Then moved down here to the south, I can not drive a car with out a/c.

My A/C has been gone for the last 6 years and I live in El Paso where almost the entire summer is over 100 degrees and I don't miss the A/C at all. I don't have 4-60 A/C but I do have 2-80 A/C :sneaky:.

I thought it was 2-100+ AC? LOL I can't do without AC! Plus I'd rather have a 500hp car whoopin up on everyone that is full function! Roll up my windows after killing them and turn on the AC in enjoyment! I recently took a trip to Roswell just for the hell of it, and it was fine leaving Albuquerque, But when I got close to Roswell I was crying for AC!

I only removed my AC after moving out to an Island LOL Thankfully it doesn't get to warm her in the summer (gets warm but not like sticky/dry warm).

I love my now discontinued MachV center vent pod, I wanted to order a new one as I broke a screw off in it so it's missing a clip and pops out sometimes then I saw they were discontinued :(

LOL the Resin I used was supposedly high quality shit for Carbon Fiber, I mixed it exactly like what it says to do and it didn't dry! I added some hardener to the remains of what was already mixed and went over it with that. Finally hardened after a full day! CAn't wait to start sanding and adding bondo and then put the damn paint on it. I'm tired of waiting.

Well its dry now. My bondo however is in town and I have no need to go into town to get it yet. So I'm just gonna start sanding it down, to smooth it out a little first.

...yet we don't have a post that isn't mounted with janky tape, etc. I'd love one that fits properly and slightly angles the gauges like the 2g guys have.

I have one that isn't mounted by janky tape. It is mounted with sheetmetal screws and clips. I Simple took off the OE trim. Went to the hardware store. Bought a $.99 pack of the shortest sheet metal screws they had. Took my shit home, and countersunk the shit out of them.

I got the black screws so they dont stick out at all. New interior clips is a must.

Make your own. That way you can make it the way you want it to be.

I agree. Here's mine. Carbon.
