I can find dual gauge vent pods all day long but I can't seem to find a triple gauge vent pod and the ones I do find are discontinued. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Make one. I am, I still am undecided though if I should put it in the din where the stereo is and ptu the stereo on bottom, or make a vent pod out of it.

edit: Ah mr ninja up here kinda beat me! ^ LOL

I would rather not make one out of metal if I can help it i would rather buy one but if i cannot then oh well

why not make one? its easy, I got all kinds of hole says, then a few cuts around the edges to shape it.

There was a guy on ebay and here that took cores and made them for ya, he also didnt give them away if ya know what i mean.

Jesse, richard has some aluminum I think i'll hit you up saturday and we'll just make one and see how it comes out

ya, Should be easy, I gota sawzall, grinder, dremel and a drill and hole saws, between that we should be able to #### something up! LOL

If you really want a nice clean part hit up glowryder. He is on this forum and makes some really nice stuff for a nice price. If you search the forums you may find one of the pods that he made not to long ago.

Is this what you are looking for?

Making them is not hard at all. I have made them out of lexan, stainless, and aluminum. Get a "donor" vent insert that you can destroy and cut it down so you can trace the outline of it or you can do a pencil rubbing of the opening. If you get the shape just right it will fit in there nice and snug and you will not need any type of fasteners, so it will look clean. A jigsaw, a good blade, and some wax will take care of the cutting. Once you get the blank cut it's just a matter of drilling the holes to match your gauges. Hell, I made one with a gauge and an AFC cutout just to see if I liked the AFC up there...wasn't feeling it so I went back to the stainless 2 gauge one I made.:thumb:

i Just used the radio surround area and put 2 guages in it. I cut up a drywall mud holder and got a plastic plate cut 2 holes and made it to fit behind the top area and put the stereo on bottom. Holds 2 guages and look awesome. I wanted to save as much money as i can. All i used was a jigsaw and a permanent marker. Guess i did use a tape measure as well to get them centered right.

I'm going to try to cut a piece out of aluminum. I'll post pictures when I'm done.

Here is where I put my boost gauge. Some guys take out all three vent knobs and put gauges in. I however use my heater and stuff all the time and I wouldn't want to sacrifice those knobs for gauges. Anyway, it is just a thought.

If you browse through the gallery on here, I am sure you will see some great ideas and would maybe make you think of something different.

I saw a guy, I forgot who and if anyone can find pics of it i'll give you a free hour with my gf, he had the 3 vent gauges and then had knobs all gauges too. I don't have ac or ps and am fully gutted so doing this is no problem.

I like the aluminum covering you did with the knobs it looks really good.

It is actually not aluminum. It is a vinyl I got from a friend that looks like stainless steel. He did his knobs like this and I liked it. So I copied him LOL. It is easy to do. You can use any kind of vinyl. Any color, any texture, etc.

I found that link your looking for

1g hvac control relocate for gauges - DSM Forums: Mitsubishi Eclipse, Plymouth Laser, and Eagle Talon Forum: DSMtalk.com
It was like that but he had the gauges in the vent as well. Thanks for that link though that was a pretty nice relocation.

Plug and play for the win imo.. check out below link in sig for pix. I personally think anything that fits stock is FTMFW...im not a fan of the Al/steel ones, to me they look outa place, unless your a drag car.. you also have to keep in mind the 2g has sexy curves, so you must find a way to keep/incorporate that into anything you do.. and the flat stuff just doesn't do it..jus my .02

On a side note, the 1g stuff is a little more challenging to build, esp in the vents, there just inst a lot to work with there, esp when cramming 3 gauges in there..

All of your pictures have to do with 2gs, do you have any pics of your 1g projects?

or go to ebay and spend 10 bucks on the triple gauge radio din pocket like i did. as long as your not running a double din works perfectly fine
