custom shifter boot

Hey guys i would like to make a custome shifter boot for my 97 eclipse but can't seem to find any directions on how to do it. I have an idea of how to do it but would like to see if my ideas match those of people that made their own. Thanx

Remove your stock boot, cut the thread holding it together. Then trace the 4 leather pieces onto your new material. Sew it together and install just how you removed the stock one.

Its easy.
