"Rice" is whatever someone else wouldn't do to their own car.
Its YOUR car, go for it. Dont let anyone tell you what you like is dumb.
For the most part I agree with you, because most of the cars at meets/shows are rice. Especially honduhs and integruhs
But painting something black cannot be considered rice. Black doesn't scream look at me. Its the perfect color. You can paint anything black and it just blends in.
Hello guys, talking about Painting the interior of the 2g, i sprayed most of my trim pieces and the bottom of rear seats flat black, and all these things i have painted have so far come out like rought to the touch, with 2-3 coats each to get everything cover, do you guys think with some coats of Clear Coats it would come out smooth like original to the touch?.. I was hoping for this to be the case, which is why im asking to make sure before i keep painting the rest of the interior..
also i can't find clear coat for fabric & vinyl, can i use regular clear coat for like bumper? or plastic? for the fabric and vinyl pieces?
please any information would help.Thank You
As for the roughness on the trim pieces sand them in between coats. It will smooth it out for you. Just don't go crazy with a coarse grit.
No one here is immune from doing something cosmetic...but at a point you transcend from making the car look nice and clean, to being a ricer, and sorry but lime green fits that bill...could you be any more of a Paul Walker wannabe with any other color?
i dont care what anyone says customizing my car is not ricey its my personal touch and it will look good when its done. there will be pictures up of it when its done and even if u still say its ricer deep down inside youre really gonna be thinking you love it
It's really no stupider than guys who put Gigantic turbos on slow ass cars IMHO. It's kind of whatever. Do what you want. It may look good, it may not, but if you like like it that's what matters.

Look at this ricer jerk....Painting his interior to match his car...
That is an excellent point.
Or the monstrous fmic with 3 inch piping to the t-25......
I get the idea buy once. However the mod list should be better than stock+monster fmic.
OR
stock+monster turbo and mbc.
I see lots of kids diving into these huge turbos with 600awhp pipe dreams and no cash to support them...
There is tons of fun to be had with a 14b or a 16g with cash to spare for other supporting mods.
I guess it isn't 'cool' to have a 14b though....
not me, I see you.. I see what your doing. Giant turbos with a shitty mod list of low quaility parts that don't even work together on a slow ass car is worse to me than someone painting there interior.i dont care what anyone says customizing my car is not ricey its my personal touch and it will look good when its done. there will be pictures up of it when its done and even if u still say its ricer deep down inside youre really gonna be thinking you love it
I find it ironic anyone thinks lime green is "ricer"
It is in fact Original Sub-Lime Mopar
However I agree it goes on the outside with a black interior and very sparingly trim accented inside.
