The only judge I'm trying to please is myself for now. The current DVD setup is just temporary but has become more permanent due to priorities of getting the engine mods done. Now that the motor is almost all the way done I will be updating my body work, system, and polished engine parts in order to get her ready to be a complete show car...with a 12 second timeslip.

that's cool. Just trying to give you some pointers if you do decide to start doing car shows...

I appreciate that since your dad has the show experience. I do, however, have a pretty good vision for the car as I have since the day I bought it box stock. It's just now coming to completion after a year and change buildup.

id hat eto bust your bubble but for the price you paid for the eclipse flip out....i got mine at cost...eiger vision....for 450....its twice the tv you have....eclipse is overrated and too pricey.....though i do like the design

Hmm, I wonder how that comment was constructive...not gonna help much to brag about your setup and try to make him regret his purchase.

I have a question Tom one you built the false floor for the subs. did you make a certain amount of air space uner the top part. I am trying to say. that you know subs well most of them need a certain amount of cubic air space to sound. good well did the jl audios you put in there need them, or it just doesn't matter. I would like to know. If my question was confusing sorry I can try to explain more again. if it is. Thanks:thumb: :dsm: :dsm:

Damn my eyes hurt after reading that sentence structure but I think I got your question. Yes all subs need to be installed into their optimum airspace to sound good. JL Audio W6s especially. There is a total of about 5 cubic feet in the box beneath the false floor which give each sub 1.66 cubes to work in. According to JL, this is within the optimum range of airspace for a sealed box.

nah i was just saying he coulda got more for his money rather than trying to get so called top of the line stuff.....i was using my purchase as a n example nothing more..
