My friend ran a 11.7 on a 60-1 untunned with a full 3 inch press bent exhuast with an Apexi N1 Muffler. So yes press bent works. I am currently using press bent and it works fine.

There is no *best* exhaust. Most of it has to do with personal preference in terms of sound and looks. Apex'i is definately one of the most popular for DSMs, another being the Thermal.

What size and type of piping is mostly what you plan to do with your car. 3" will be louder and more expensive, but you will never need to go bigger (unless you make 600+ hp). A 3" pressbent is about the same size as a 2.5" mandrel bent exhaust so it isn't bad.
