OK in a couple months I'll be throwing a turbo on my 97 RS. The turbo is a t3/t04e 50 trim with the 4 bolt exhaust housing. I am trying to order parts for my exhaust system. Here is what i got so far, lemme know if the pieces i have found will make a good exhaust. Everything will be welded together except for where the DP and a flex section, before the cat, meet. All tubing will be 3in tubing. Total cost will be around $353 + shipping. Labor will be done by myself & my father.
4 bolt flange -> 2.5-3in tapered adapter -> 90 bend -> Flex section -> 3 bolt flange -> 3 bolt flange -> 90 bend -> Flex section -> Cat -> Straight tube -> Glass pack/resonator -> 90 bend toward driver side -> 90 bend toward back -> 45 bend -> 45 bend back toward exhaust cutout on bumper -> muffler.
Try and picture it, i put this list together by looking at the pictures on HRC heres the link,HRC
Please compare and critique.
