I bought a kenwood dmx957xr off of crutchfield and they called to tell me that it won't fit into my factory single din mounting space. I insisted that it would and that people have done it and that my car has a factory double din and that all I have to do is use the factory mounting brackets. I had to send them a pic of my dash so they would sell it to me and it should be here this week. I'm excited. They also gave me a link to help them update their info and if I give them the right info they'll pay me.

Nice. I’m waiting on parts from RTM to finish my build but just started working on the interior. Fixed the drivers door handle because a rod got bent that wouldn’t fully disengage the lock… upon doing so I noticed the factory speakers were blown. Soooo now I’m just looking at stereo/ speaker options. Would love to put in a double din

Just make sure to get the dash kit and the right harness for the car. I've had to get a reverse wire kit so many times from people just hacking the stock wiring and just hard wiring straight to the car. Otherwise should work great for you.
