Cruise Control

my cruise control doesnt work for some reason. i want to remove it completly though. out of the people that have done it, do you have a step by step, of what i gotta do to take everything out?

if you get the non-cruise control throttle cable you can remove the cuise control box and servo (may be the same part on the N/A I havent been under the hood of one in 5 years). As far as the interior I would just leave the switches alone.

Conversely, if you do want to remove the switches I could use them. Someone pulled the cruise from my car(switches), but everything under the hood still appears to be intact.

Just buy the non-cruise throttle cable, pull out the CC boxes and wire up the new cable. Takes about 10minutes tops. Hardest is hooking up the new cable to the firewall.

As for the switches... I kept mine inside also. Just easy and it's not much in the way of weight or space.

As mentioned above. Scrap out the whole cruise control system and order a non-cruise cable for the 2g and you'll be set.
