It seems to be fairly common. They don't wear terribly. Why did you take it apart in the first place?
 
Wow, took me that long to do this. Here are 2 pics. I think rebuilt, or another example of the amazing 4g63. Core plugs look recent.

That block looks way too clean to not have been rebuilt. I only have a little over 80k on mine and it's completely covered in grime. Can you still feel the crosshatching scores with your fingernail, or are they just trapped in the cylinder's glaze? It's not unlikely to still see crosshatching with high mileage, but if you can still feel it, it means it's barely even been broken in.
 
looks like mine, when i pulled it apart, bought it at 111k, and then oil pump issue at 120k, so looks to be rebuilt.
 
I purchased my car with just short of 240k on the odometer from the original owner. To our surprise when I pulled the motor the cross hatching still looked fresh and the motor had never been gone into.
 
Well unless I find another good running motor this one has been called up for duty. The motor in my car with 140k ended up killed by detonation and some piece of metal. It's cylinder walls are baby smooth at 140k.
