Well the reason for the second is OEM I dont want to use ACT TOB every review I read said use oem, Fidanza flywheel because the act streetlite is out of stock and when my clutch burnt up it cracked the flywheel so bad they cant resurface it and the rest are out of my budget I really had no choice :(, I bought the vss because when I dropped my tranny I forgot to unclip the wire and it broke I know beginner mistake.

I need some encouragement that this setup will be ok because its my DD and I couldn't wait for for The flywheel to come back in stock LOL

I have a 7 bolt flywheel if you want a cheap one. I took it off my 98 gsx. 7bolt.
Also you do want the oem tob but you only need 1

O hahaha I didn't even notice there where two LOL, o well guess I'll have extras now. I read multiple reviews on the fidanza for hours and I came up with either you love it or you hate it so I guess I will find out , if I hate it primerplus I'll take you up.on that offer. What's so bad about it.anyways it seems so mixed.

I hear people either like it or they don't. But I hear as long as you don't wromp on it you shouldnt have any issues. But if you do wromp on it and don't give it time to cool off it can worp. However I have no personal experience with the that flywheel. Only the act streetlite.

The only problem I have seen with Fidanza flywheels is fretting. The flywheel material starts to erode and stick to the end of the crank. But this could be caused by many things, not just a poorly designed flywheel. So what you have ordered will be just fine, there is zero proof that anything your ordered is "junk". It's all opinion, limited personal experience, or hearsay. So long as you install everything right and make sure the clutch is properly adjusted, you should enjoy a good life from a truly decent clutch setup.

If they would have had act I would have.. they said two weeks to ship it then another 5 for delivery.

Wes_393, that is some of the most straight forward advice I have received thank you, everyone I found with this setup said they loved it.

Have you noticed any idleing issues or anything like that from.the decreased weight and inertia?

The authorized ebay vendor I bought my clutch was about 20 bucks cheaperLOL
Just curious on your shirt size. Are you a big man? No offense.
I hate light flywheels. They bog to much off the line. Im waiting to put my stocker back on.

My Fidanza flywheel has been going strong since 2005. The part is sound I assure you.

go with 2600 act and fidanza flywheel is fine excellent combination had it loved it moved on to auto swap:) . i would go oem on the flywheel bolts with some lock tight. no need for arp. go 2 sizes smaller on the shirt. will make you look like a bad azz.

thing will rev like a motorcycle..LOL.. keep the 1st gear rev limit to 4500.

I would add a new pivot ball and fork on the list. Everything else looks ok minus the dbls LOL, a lot of people say they had bad exp with the flywheel, but there's a lot of factors that can screw one up, the #1 being something not installed or adjusted correctly. Install it right, adjust your clutch properly, do proper break in and you shouldn't have any issues. Can't recall if new OEM master + slave was on the list but it's a good idea to replace both with a new clutch.
