hey guys i really need some help with my clutch problems. it all started off when i vibrated 2 tranny-engine bolts loose and had some trouble shifting and creeping foreward with clutch in and some funny starter noises. i retourqued the bolts and away went the funny starter noises. now its still hard to get into gears and most of the grind and pop a little till theyre in then a metalic screetch noise, let off the clutch and it all goes away...untill i shift again. i just put a new tob and clutch less than 5k ago. help!!!

When I bought my car 2 lower tranny bolts vibrated out a week after buying it. Same type of things happened to me. In my case the shaft that holds the throw out bearing on ripped off and made my clutch disc explode.

Ha ya I had that happen to me as well. Then the new clutch I installed drags. So inorder to correctly fix this problem you are supposed to step your flywheel so many thousandths or something. It can be adjusted out though but can be very difficult and does not take much to come out of adjustment.

so my pivot ball is shimmed and in the correct position i did this last time i had the tranny out. when i looked under the dash at my master cylinder it looked as if it were leaking a tiny bit, could this be the villan? if not does that mean i need to pull the tranny and see whats up maybe step the flywheel? or should i just try adjusting the master cylinder rod?

just finished pulling the tranny...well heres the problem. center hub is really loose too.

if your master is leaking you're going to need to replace/rebuild it...
also, you might want to consider checking the flywheel step, while the tranny is out.

what clutch do you have?

thats a stock clutch. u should buy an xtd clutch stage 4 unsprung. around $160 more or less. have one and works great.

tried the aftermarket clutches...stripped the splines inside the clutch disk on an act 2600 w/ 6 puck unsprung disk. anyone know of a good tutorial or video on how to step the flywheel? and also how do i know if i should replace the flywheel? it looks fairly worn down
