Crazy knock, I'm still confused

I've been out recently using Eric's (Turbosax2) Excel spread sheet to dial in the VE tables for WOT so they are going to be closer together after this posted log.

I am now getting an insane amount of knock and I just changed up the fuel and timing tables to have a variable amount the ECU can go through. To me, everything seems fine but something is obviously amiss.

I can't seem to do anything to get rid of this knock unless I run 15psi or less.

The attached log is a quick 2nd into a 3rd gear pull. I just activated my EGR to run my meth pump and when it supposedly kicked on, I didn't see any changes in the AFR. It's -20 washer fluid for the time being until I get these issues figured out and mix up my VP M1.

I pulled the line from the check valve for the meth nozzle and fluid did come out so I'm assuming it turned on. I did take notice that the mixture that came out hit the block by the t-stat housing and started to boil instantly. I also have some wire loom melting into a puddle on the power steering pump. Manifold is wrapped, part of the down pipe is wrapped, and my o2 housing is wrapped minus the waste gate itself. All that's left is a blanket for the turbo.

Any help and advice will be awesome!

Do a sanity check of the knock sensor Scott. Make sure its tight in the back of the block (17 ft/lbs) and it isn't bad, I've also seen dp's rubbing on oil pans and the exhaust hitting the driveshaft causing PK.

Your AFR's look good, whats your timing looking like at peak tq?

Sorry, I uploaded the wrong file. The log file is now posted instead of the Excel file.

I won't be able to check the knock sensor until I get home and the car cools off considerably. I've never actually messed with it before but it's a new OEM unit that was installed when the motor was built.

Haha. Long night last night? ROFL

Thats 100% PK, no doubt in my mind. Boost/timing aren't aggressive and your AFR's are rich enough, on top of that you're tossing meth in the mix. It isn't knock man, check the sensor.

That's just it Corey, I turned the boost down and the knock went down as well the other day. I just turned it up to 20ish today from 15 and the knock ret. went up.

If you're certain the KS is in decent shape and tightened up go overly conservative with your timing advance starting at 4k, leaving boost at 20psi. Rather than trying to tune it on Pump+Meth to begin with do a good pump gas only tune and get everything where it needs to be, then tune the Meth with leaner AFR's/advanced timing/more boost.

You are right though, it doesn't make much sense why its knocking but if its real knock the motor isn't liking something and it seems timing would be it since everything else is conservative.

That was the first run with the meth and all that was changed was the min tables. The max tables remained the same from before. I turned it on to see if it would change anything and sadly it didnt.

I'll check the sensor tomorrow bt IIRC there is also a nylon spacer installed as well with the sensor.
