crankwalk?

so i finnaly got my auto trans out of the car but before i took off my flexplate i decided to see if i could push or pull the crank with a small pry bar. all i was able to get was a very very small amount of movement but you can definately feel there is a very very small amount of clearance.the motor runs dead quiet is this acceptable or should there be no lateral movement at all?

Had you searched you would have found that the limit of crank thrust wear is around .006-.008", then rendering this thread and it's vague, unrelated title useless.

If you have a small amount of thrust wear, it's not crank walk.

i have searched just wasnt sure if i would be able to feel that small amount of clearance with my hands.
